Dear mum,

Helping me move =/= spending quality time. You spending another 2 weeks over with my brother and only seeing me (if you have time) is -not- good parenting. I'm your spawn too.

This has been bugging the shit out of me since I was informed that my mother felt that way about me.  Sure, it was only a few hours ago; but it still annoys the hell out of me.  I know she favours my brother like a carnivore favours fresh meat over leafy greens, but it doesn't stop how much I hate it.

On the trip to work this morning/afternoon I was thinking... So many times she's said to me; "You should have been the boy." Usually it's referring to when she's trying to make me dress more 'feminine' (*shudder*), but after the talk with Amber this morning, it got me thinking more about it - and related things.

If I told her what was going on in my brain, would she just poo-poo it like she does with most things? Or would things change?

Pfft. Doubt it. She'd probably tell me the good old; "No, you're not. Stop being stupid." Ugh, how much I hate that fucking line.

Guess I should get back to work, cutting out little laminated cards and replying to emails and stuff.  Only one hour to go! Woot.

alas, it seems yet another rant needs to be vented onto your pixels.

i've been extremely busy of late. Work has been hectic and i'm ready for a nice sleep in.

i didn't get time to do tin sunday dishes. I was tired and wanted to rest.

it is now wednesday, and the dishes remain unwashed.

i got back from the shower and found a note stuffed under my door. Becaurn i didn't get around to doing sunday's dishes (i was working most of the day), no one else had either. They'd barely cleaned up after the party they'd had sunday. I responded to the note, rather tired and sick of their whining, and told them from now on i'm only doing my own.

i also told them to clean up after themselves, because there were still empty bottles and such laying about.

i can't wait to get out of there. Seriously will not miss it.

First I have no money, need to ask my mum for some so I can fucking eat. Then I find out one of my beloved uncles died Monday. Now I find out my best friends kitty is probably going to be put down because he's in pain and sick as shit.

As if I hadn't already cried enough last night.



Maybe I should buy a lottery ticket or something.

So, a fair bit has happened recently.

1. I have a (*gasp*) social life! I go out Thursday evenings and play D&D with a bunch of awesome random people.
2. I play D&D Saturday mornings with housemates and their friends, also random funny fun.
3. My first character in the latter D&D (A half elf rogue called Arithil) died in an arena match. He won't be missed.  He could sneak into anywhere, but he couldn't see what was there. No perception. 
4. I made a eladrin wizard in his place, who sadly, has more perception than a rogue. Lol.
5. I ordered, and got an Angel of Dream male dollfie. ( vampghost.deviantart.com/gallery/ <<< pics here ) I got his wig today, it took a fair while to get here. Amber is making me some clothes, once I decide what I want. Yay!
6. I did and finished a retail course (Cert II), and just finished my work experience at the YMCA as of Monday.
7. Was offered casual hours at aforementioned place. YAY!
8. I'm still addicted to Shaiya.
9. I have Sims 3 and it's good fun.
10. I've been reading an awesome series by Brent Weeks called The Night Angel trilogy. If you're into fantasy, and like me, have a thing for assissins... read it! It's just, amazing!
11. I went and saw Phantom of the Opera on Saturday afternoon. That was amazing. I'd go see it again if it wasn't gone and if I had spare money.

So, just before my mum called me over Skype and asked me about this place my Aunt and Uncle lived in for a bit. It's called Living Waters, and it's a Christian retreat place for recovering druggies and alcoholics.

My aunt is down there at the moment (just to stay, not to recover) and she went down to visit my parents at the farm. But. She decided to not tell mum she was bringing anyone else along. Which is rude already.

But she bought two guys from Living Waters, one who has a court case coming up this week.

So, mum's kinda freaking out, because they've been inside the house and stuff. Not impressed.

I did send my aunt an sms telling her to never do it again and that it upset my mum.

Friggen. Wtf.

Just because people claim to have 'found God', does NOT make them instantly a better person, because it's easy to fake it.

Well, not a lot really happened while I had no net. I moved. Back in with the people I was living with before, plus one more. So we're starting a D&D campaign. Mine and Will's first. I'm a Half Elf rogue, and he's a Dragonborn warlord. I'm also getting into Warhammer, I'm going to collect Dark Elves at one point in time.

So, now we have wireless net in the house as of this morning and it's awesome. WOO!

That's really about it.

And it means I can rp again! YAY!

Well, I'll have regular net access in 4-6... weeks.

Seriously, wtf? Why does it take that long? It's not like they have to lay down new internet lines, build a house, build a modem and set it up.

So for now, I'll have to rely on free wireless (which is pretty lame. It's slow and keeps dropping out) and my friends. Whose internet is fast and doesn't drop out.

So, after 10 days of stress and worse and worse stress. We finally managed to get a place, after talking to our landlord and managing to get an extension from him. LOL.

So, no net for a little bit. Not long though, we're all addicted and we'll get jitters.
